About Dr. Paglini

Dr. Paglini was active duty in the Air Force and deployed in Operation Desert Storm from January 18, 1991 to April 7, 1991. He provided psychological service to 37th Tactical Unit (stealth fighters). He performed crisis intervention, educated wing on combat stress and preventive measures, and provided ongoing consultation of stress management. After Desert Storm, Dr. Paglini worked at numerous psychiatric hospitals on an inpatient basis providing therapy and assessments. Dr. Paglini also performed psychological services on an outpatient
basis.

Since 1996, Dr. Paglini has served the criminal courts by conducting death penalty assessments, risk assessments, competency evaluations, and psychological evaluations of criminal defendants. Additionally, Dr. Paglini has worked with the family courts extensively, completing child custody evaluations, child interviews, and family court assessments. Dr. Paglini has also conducted independent psychological evaluations for attorneys in civil matters. Currently, Dr. Paglini works for the specialty courts, serving on one of three mental health teams that conducts civil commit evaluations.

In 2014, Dr. Paglini was appointed to the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners. From 2014-2018, he served the State of Nevada in this role by reviewing the professional conduct of licensed psychologists to promote competent practice and public welfare.

Dr. Paglini has been married to a remarkable woman for over 33 years. They have raised three wonderful children together. Dr. Paglini is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. In his spare time, Dr. Paglini is either working out, hiking, or enjoying the company of his friends and family.
